(Brockton, MA) – December 13, 2022 – Quincy Community Action Programs, Inc. (QCAP) is among thirty-four recipients of the Massachusetts HarborOne Foundation bi-annual grants benefiting local children and families. HarborOne’s grant to QCAP will support the organization's newly expanded South West Community Center Food & Nutrition Programs that serve 5,000 individuals a year through onsite hand selected food boxes, mobile food pantries, food deliveries, and nutrition education workshops. The grant will also support other QCAP full-service programs in the Quincy area including the Financial REACH Center.

“The HarborOne Foundation is thrilled to be able to support QCAP’s efforts to address food insecurity and reach even more families who need their help in a time of rapidly rising food costs,” said Jennifer White, President HarborOne Foundation. “As a local community partner, we appreciate and value the critical work of QCAP and others to provide our most vulnerable neighbors with access to the basic necessities.”

Since its inception, HarborOne Foundation has invested over $2 million to support and expand the work of community non-profits including organizations that promote educational opportunity, create access to safe and affordable housing and provide basic human services to our most vulnerable citizens.

The thirty-four organizations for this round of funding include:
